My laptop is woefully outdated and slow and I was wondering if it would be possible for me to just bring my desktop (tower, flatscreen, keyboard, mouse). I could probably stash it all in a box or possibly fit it in a travel bag. I was just wondering if anyone has done this previously at TIGJam and if it's okay to leave the machine there overnight (for instance, is the place we're going to like a studio that's only open to us and we can lock at night?) In that case I could have my setup for the duration of the event and then just bring it back on the last day. Is this possible?

You can bring a desktop and leave it there. During the day, Hacker Dojo is *generally* open to the public, but at night it's members only. The members communally have more valuable equipment there than a desktop, and they're responsible and accountable, so I wouldn't worry about them. But if you are, we can lock it in a s3kr1t room.

Plus there may be jammers there a majority of the time.
