I got Native Instruments FM8 for black friday. It's like the Genesis ym2612 music chip on crack. Soooo coooll  Epileptic

Too bad I have nothing to plug it in to.  Facepalm My old copy of Sonar Home Studio 4 (which is now like 12 versions behind) can find the VSTi fine, but it doesn't add it to the usable DXi intruments. I've tried to fix it like 20 times. Time to buy Sonar X1  WTF Hand Money Right

check out ReNoise :D at least that's what has been grabbing my sound-related-attention lately, it supports VSTi's.  FM8 is great, personally don't have it but a big fan of FM ( TX81Z )

On a home computer, not really. But RAM is cheap as shit, so why the heck not.

Virtualize and run every major version of windows to date. Hello Windows 98 PINBALL.

Or use it to render big CGI movie projects or video-editing / encoding / recording.

For next year's plan, we're getting new cellular telephones. Actually, they're more like PDAs now, as they're Androids. More specifically, 2.3. An LG Enlighten.

a dream about flying a plane, dodging missile, bombing the missile turret, though inside a dream, and exploration! better than gaming!
