I got Native Instruments FM8 for black friday. It's like the Genesis ym2612 music chip on crack. Soooo coooll  Too bad I have nothing to plug it in to.  My old copy of Sonar Home Studio 4 (which is now like 12 versions behind) can find the VSTi fine, but it doesn't add it to the usable DXi intruments. I've tried to fix it like 20 times. Time to buy Sonar X1   |

Spent 1300 dollars on a new computer. I7 Processor, 12 GB RAM, 1 TB Harddrive, NVidia GTX550 graphics card, and a new monitor.

Time to buy Sonar X1 check out ReNoise :D at least that's what has been grabbing my sound-related-attention lately, it supports VSTi's. FM8 is great, personally don't have it but a big fan of FM ( TX81Z ) |

Or use it to render big CGI movie projects or video-editing / encoding / recording.
