Did we invent music?

You could argue that we did. It's a pretty human concept. Maybe other species have their own concept of music, but it's probably not the same as ours.

Time for nerdy mass effect 3 multiplayer time:

So I was playing with other 2 guys on Firebase Giant against Reapers on Silver, with me playing a lvl 20 Batarian Soldier, equipped with a Phaeston and an Eagle. Honestly, for the most part, the Phaeston didnt pack quite the punch required for me to perform enough kills, and the Eaqle had a way too small capacity.

So we were on Wave 9, and for some reason my 2 squadmates died, probably Banshees. So it was just me to kill nearly the entire fucking wave. For reference, the Wave was conformed by Husks, Marauders, Ravagers and Banshees. By the time my squadmates died, there were still around 2 Banshees, probably 5 Ravagers, and apparently Marauders and Husks kept spawning. So I basically had to dispose of 2 of the toughest bitches in the entire game that could 1 hit kill me with no resurrection possible and 5 of the heaviest artillery assholes in the game too. So basically I had to keep running in circles, having the control room as y main killzone, and strafing all the ay to the bunker for supplies and recharge.

Husks by themselves give no much trouble, I could dispose of the with a bunch of melee punches. Problem is, they often break my cover, and if by any chance Banshees or Ravagers paid a visit, it was fucking game over. So I had to isolate all Husks, dealing with at most 2 at the same time, usually by having my Ballistic Blades dealing with them.

Marauders were also a problem. They aren't tough either, but dealing with more than one means I get pinned, leaving me defenseless against the much tougher assholes (becuase I would have to be stuck in cover). So it was a game of isolating each, and then draining shield with the phaeston while walking casualy towards them, and then proceed to kill them with melee.

Once most husks were dealt with, I had to make sure that those fucking banshees died as fast as they could. So the first one fell alone to one cobra missile, downward from the exterior to the connection ramp. The second one require me to bait her to be in the upper exterior area; luckily one Ravager escorted her - time for me to run like mad (note that Batarians are like the second slowest class) towards the control room, and then snipe her from there with another cobra missile. Wham, 2 gone, in addition to a few husks and Marauders I think. Yeah.

Ravagers were a fun surprise. As I said, the Phaeston really lacks some punch so others dont steal my kills. This time my life depended on it. I knew that trying to deal with ravagers from afar with a weapon with such a lame damage output would be suicide. Ravagers would kill me before that happened. So in the end, I had 2 of them lured to the corner section between the connection and the lower exterior. Ravagers don;t engage you directly at melee range. Rather they usually break their sacs and spawn tons of swarmers. Now, this is where the fucking Phaeston shined: since it has one of the lowest recoils in an assault rifle, I could strafe around each ravager right in front of their faces (not so close dues to their fucking acid drops tho), and riddle them with bullets, disposing rapidly of their goddamn swarmers, and having the two ravagers completely defenseless.

The last two were always hanging close to each other, with a Marauder as their bodyguard and a couple of armor plated Husks. The marauder was durable enough that he could kill me while dealing with one Ravager, and the husk could face rape me and leaving me defenseless; in addition to that, since the 2 of them were close to each other, I couldnt apply the melee range strafe  dance anymore; the one that I wasn't attack me would get back enough so it could crush me with some cannon fun. So I had to circle around 2 times the maps to manage to have them right at the area connecting the control room with the lower exterior. I walked up the ramp, loaded my cobra launcher - time for the truth. If I fil this shot, I will die. I had used up all my medi gel and my sys ops packs. I managed to hit them at the right time -  I killed the two ravagers and a couple of husks. Then I just gloriously smashed the last Marauder with the butt of my phaeston until he died.

Wave 9 cleared.

Holy shit. I shat my pants. The slightest mistake could have costed us the match. I fucking did it. MAAAN.

Alas, we died on wave 10 to a full Marauder platoon while we were uploading some STG shit at the control room.

Got engaged, and got a PS3. Not really related events.

Made the mistake of getting my fiancée into Demon's Souls, and now I probably won't get to play PS3 until she finishes it.
