That seems fairly conceited of the teacher.  Unless it was actually a stellar paper and everyone else's sucked, I don't see any way that a paper quoting the teacher is better.  Also, what english teacher makes you explain something concrete?

Back last semester, my English teacher didn't care if you got it concrete or not, it actually took being non-white to pass well. I hope she got fired. Plus she has one of the highest RateMyProfessors review counts, pretty much with terrible quality overall.

WORST TEACHER EVER! Who the heck makes you buy texts book and then assigns readings that ARE NOT in the books and makes you look them up ON GOOGLE!!!! She gives assigments that SHE cant even explain!!! She is extremly unhelpful and she NOT be teaching!!!

Quote
She is the worst professor I have had at GTC. She was never prepared for class and had to spend time every week looking for the assignments. She was not consistent with her grading. She is not good at spelling and grammar. We never used the books we were required to buy. The class was useless. She would change assignments mid-way through class.

DOWN RIGHT WORST TEACHER THERE IS AT SCHOOL! DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS EVEN TALKING ABOUT WHEN TEACHING!FOR EXAMPLE..MAKES YOU RIGHT AN ANALITICAL PAPER BUT IN THE END SHE WANTS A SYMBOLIC PAPER....FAILS PRETTY MUCH EVERY PAPER GIVEN TO HER! DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER FOR THIS CLASS! IF SHE DOESNT LIKE YOU SHE WILL FAIL YOU PERIOD!

It's very hard for me to comprehend how Ms. Parks got her degree. She's horrible. Grades unfairly, is very unclear, doesn't like to answer any questions, takes away points if your opinion differs from hers, she forgets her own criteria, she lets us out of class an houe early every day beccause "she has nothing else for us". DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!

A friend and I barely managed to pass this class together. We can vouch for all these reviews.

sitting through a whole hour of English class where the teacher was discussing why one author made an animal black in the original version and why somebody else made it white in their retelling, when it's clearly one of the situations where it is what it is and you shouldn't try to read too much into it.

If I ever become an author I should make a prologue saying, "Don't try to analyze this intensely, it is what it is, read it for enjoyment,"

If I ever be an author I deliberately fill the book with random details, remarks etc. and then laugh at all weird interpretations people come up based on them.

1) you're stupid and a racist
2) i hate it when i write an "ANALITICAL" paper in all caps but they wanted a symbolic paper which i guess is where you dont turn in a paper but something that stands for a paper i'm too dumb to get a passing grade in an english course at a small technical 'college' take me out back and put me down

oh man. reminds me of an essay I had to write on the symbolism of the rose bush in front of the prison door in Scarlet Letter.
Quote
Hawthorn remarks in the first chapter that the rose-bush serves to "symbolize some sweet moral blossom". This is seen to represent Hesters sin as a passion, and since Pearl is a result of her passionate sin, maybe she is the symbol for morality.

Hawthorne continues the theme of the rose-bush throughout the story . In chapter 8, Wilson calls Pearl a 'red rose', and when she is asked about whom she was made from, she said that she had not been made at all, but had been 'plucked by her mother off the bush of wild roses, that grew by the prison-door.'

For a deeper understanding of some of the symbolism in The Scarlet Letter why not try a study guide such as:

York Notes on Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Scarlet Letter" (York Notes Advanced)
ISBN: 978-0582414730
yeah man those wacky teachers actually reading the material that's in the first chapter of the goddamn book those goof balls lets go watch some anime cartoons and discuss why they are so deep but hawthorne?? faggot extraordinaire do not read

Good authors actually do sneak a lot of symbolism into their work. Very little is chosen "just because."

I barely BARELY dropped my mini controller and the usb port on it just plain broke off!  Shocked

It literally fell like 2 feet onto a soft carpet floor. It fell on it's back and NOT on the cord or usb port. The cord didn't stretch out or anything.

what even.

What a terrible product.
The drum pads were super insensitive, the keys felt stiff, and the software for it worked, but was clunky as hell.
