I just mean you can only get so much done with public funding.
yeah like going to the moon

and it cost $25 billion. Freeing things up to the free market means that there's more incentive to develop cheaper solutions

You forgot to add "only if there's a short term financial gain that will outweigh the investment". "Free market" is not a magic cure to every economical problem.

It takes 30 minutes to program in a function.  It works in every case except for one, even though that one case has copied code from another that does work.  It then takes numerous hours to make the function work with that one case.

They're adding another floor to my apartment building. The entire house is scaffolded and I get woken up early by drills and hammers every day.

If you have some noisy hobby it is good time to practice it now  Tongue

And about the space stuff, even though free market space companies are future in regards of lowering costs, I think there is need for more advanced space research, satellites, research for long time habitation of space, space-stations, moon, Mars etc.
