Halloween sucks anymore. And not just because I'm in my twenties now.
My area keeps bumping the curfew up every year, and now kids can't even trick or treat past eight o' clock. Eight.
I feel sorry for this generation, as they'll have no idea how fun Halloween used to be.

What? Dude, when I was a kid, I Trick or Treated until ALL OF THE LIGHTS WERE OFF. That's ridiculous! It's not like the kids are out on their own! They have parents. |

Girlfriend got stopped at the border, wasn't allowed to cross because she "seemed like a runaway".
Her phone's dead, she hasn't contacted me directly yet, and all I know is that she's been waiting there for the past few hours to take a bus home. I am so goddamned pissed off right now.
Edit: Someone at the counter gave her a compatible phone charger. Talking to her right now, feeling much better, still very pissed off.

we have a curfew here too but it's not like the Law has the time or resources to enforce it. more than half the kids that ring my doorbell don't even scream trick or treat anymore. an even fewer amount say thank you. kids these days. bah humbug. |

we have a curfew here too but it's not like the Law has the time or resources to enforce it. more than half the kids that ring my doorbell don't even scream trick or treat anymore. an even fewer amount say thank you. kids these days. bah humbug. If they don't say trick-or-treat/thank you, throw the candy at their face. If their parents ask you what you think you're doing, tell them that you're teaching the children not to trust strangers. Then slam the door in their face. |

I have to write a scene of a play, and I have no clue what I should write about.
Also, I'd rather write the whole dum play. I have to develop 3 characters in 2 pages plus the actual scene.
