Oooh! Experimental games! And 18 of them!

So far my favourite's been "Pixel Pals", although I don't quite understand it. Aside from the fact that homebrew console dev is The Coolest Thing, it feels very sweet and personal, and the use of gameplay mechanics/puzzles to construct a narrative is something that always interests me (even if I don't quite think it's completely successful here). Still checking out the rest of the entries, though.

The Kisser was lovely, a bit of a simple game but I loved the visuals and the theme.

A game for two was also lovely, but I haven't had a chance to play it proper yet.

Some of the games....I dunno. Girls Tower Defense was stupid, is that the kind of game a girl wants? To kill zombies and monsters with flowers? Uhhh. Ovum was also kind of stupid (but funny too) in that you are a guardian of an Ovum and it's your job to destroy sperm and prevent pregnancy. Is that the kind of game girls are interested in? I don't think so, but it's funny that some of us seem to think that would be something a girl would enjoy.

Ahh, I dunno. It's a shame no girls (I don't think?) participated.

Down, Left, Right of the Living Dead is the exact kind of game that desperately needs WASD controls.
