Intro

My name is Carlo Castellano, I am a musician, composer and sound designer. I graduated at Berklee College of Music in the course "Introduction to Game Audio". I also graduated in "Audiovisual Composition" and I am graduating in classical piano at the Music Conservatory of Naples, Italy. I work as professional session keyboard player too, with both studio and live experience. I can range from many genres, like piano solo songs to techno tracks. My main influences came from game composers like Tomas Dvorak (Machinarium) and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and from artists like Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Deep Purple, Sigur Ros, Radiohead and so on. Update: added a new game in development (soundtrack preview) The Swapper by Facepalm Games

Carlo made the music for Task Manager (my versus compo entry) and he's currently working on the soundtrack and audio for The Swapper. He has often exceeded my expectations by perfectly interpreting and carrying out even the most vague ideas. He's been very open to feedback and suggestions while also being able to keep up with deadlines.

He's generally been a very nice person to work with and I can definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented musician or audio designer.

The Develop Conference today announced the ten games shortlisted to be on display within the Indie Showcase running from 20–21 July in the Develop Expo.

The Swapper by Facepalm Games - an ambient puzzle platformer, it features game mechanics centred around the main character's ability to create clones and swap consciousnesses with them.
