I just finished Paper Mario. I've had an N64 and the cartridge for over 3 years, but I take a long time to finish games. I rarely ever complete RPGs (so far I can only recall beating Pokemon Gold, Golden Sun, and Skies of Arcadia), so this was doubly hard for me. I vowed to finish it over the break, and I did. The end was well worth it, and even if it is on the easy side for other people, it still kicked my ass plenty of times. Awesome game, can't wait to finish some of the others I've got lying around. C:

I changed my wallpaper from a dark gray background with "Aperture" from Portal on it to a slight modification of an image (I made it darker; I hate distracting wallpapers) of GLaDOS from Portal 2.

Got my engine compiling and running in linux  I'd been sorta tied to windows for a while thanks to a win-specific project and I'm finally getting back into linux. After years with visual studio and codeblocks I'm switching to gvim, which is cross platform, delightfully lightweight, and sufficiently ide-like with a couple plugins. After fumbling around with automake (ick...) for a while, I settled on using scons for building. |
