Just watched Million Dollar Baby, I was watching last 30 minutes with almost teared eyes. God, I feel more than after reading a good book.

just saw that some guy posted a technical remake of an older game using all existing assets into a game jam I'm entering, this is his second submission into the jam... all within the rules apparently. to me this just isn't in the spirit of a game jam (at least not what I thought it was) and I'm beginning to think these last few days of stress and sleepless development haven't been worth it.
to avoid complete derailment of this fine thread, something I just did was write all of the above.

It's not an analysis, it's me explaining why I think it's stupid.
What can I say. Plot holes, unrealistic psychology and creepy morals are things that make a story worse for me. You can't just dismiss any critique of a work with "it's not supposed to be realistic!"

Found perhaps my first in-dev "real" game from five years ago. It's ugly and at times dum, but it's so cool how I'm having an hard time solving some of the levels.
