I'm a student at Anglia Ruskin University doing computer games and visual effects, 3rd year. I specialize in art, 3D and 2D. No programming experience regretfully, though I hope I can still make myself useful. I've been to 3 other Jams before so I have some experience in the dynamics of a jam and working under tight deadlines... never anything like 3 hours though, however I welcome the challenge. :D see you there!

I just realised that this game-jam is the week after the IGDA's Global Game Jam...
Am I man enough to survive two consecutive weekends of intense development? Can I maintain my creativity across both weekends?
I doubt my wife would approve, so maybe I'll give GGJ a miss this year...

Ahh come on, live a little!
I've got GGJ* one weekend, followed by TIGJam, followed by a weekend-long recording session, followed by a weekend with the missus.
I don't know which is gonna be more knackering.
*I also have to come home early on the Saturday of the GGJ to do a gig.

Ahh come on, live a little! Meh... Nobody else is even registered for the nearest (Luton, which is about 30-45 minutes away) jam, so there's always the risk that it would be just me on my own. Also, the distance is awkward; far enough that the petrol-costs would be irritating, but too close to justify staying in the area even if I could afford to. Besides, this is going to be my first Game-Jam, so arranging to leap into the unknown two weeks in a row would be a little scary. |

More likely that people don't give a shit about registering. I recommend going to both. It's good to know jammy people in one's vicinity. Don't use burnout after the first as an excuse for missing the second, though  I'm going to a jam in London the week before as well. I'm looking forward to having two in a row |

I think I'd heard it mentioned somewhere before, but never properly investigated it. I'd probably only be able to get there for about 7 or 8pm, but looks like fun. |
