The first one is really interesting.
I think it would only show its real potential with a good Android tablet though, since you can actually compile something directly on that and test it on the same screen.

I have a SSH client on my palm centro, it doubles as both a way to log into my computer at home and write + compile code, AND as a way to continue playing my nethack game from wherever I'm at.  I just fire them up in screen sessions so that even if disconnected, I can re-connect, or when I get home I can open the session there and continue.
