Didn't like the upscaled pixelart, tutorial, mouse control, movement inertia, not much variety in colours.

It's very fun! I don't like the presence of the mouse cursor during the game.

Excellent game, loved the music. The only thin I thought was missing was some indicator of how far through a level I was, but it never really got annoying.

I created an account JUST to ask where that music is from. I recognize it, and it's bugging the heck out of me.

The music is by Zircon.

The first level ended sort of abruptly. The second one did too, but that was clearly on purpose. I also didn't realize until the end of the second level that the white glows marked where lightning was about to hit - maybe point that out somewhere in the game. As well, I would have liked a way to skip the cutscene at the start of the last level so I didn't have to watch it every time I died. Other than that, it was fun. I liked the bomb-flinging mechanic, and it seemed like a pretty solid game. EDIT: Also, the ending was great.

Great game! I liked the graphics and found the radio chatter kept things interesting. Some comments:
- Could you not build the tutorial into the first level? I think that forcing users to play the tutorial will put some people off.
- I found the bomb controls a bit strange to get used to, partly because I was worried my cursor would leave the game viewport.
- I found it odd that bombs would sit in the air if you didn't give them any momentum. Perhaps they should fall to the ground as well as always having some minimum initial velocity?
- When getting overwhelmed, I tended to spam the space key to release and detonate bombs on top of myself to kill nearby bats. It felt as if there should have been a penalty for setting off explosions so close to myself. Perhaps make bomb explosions harm the player a small amount and only allow one bomb to be released every few seconds?
- Level 3 felt considerably harder than the previous levels due to the lack of visibility.
- I too only worked out the behaviour of the lightning near the end of the level. I originally thought the lightning would attack some previous position I had been flying in and didn't notice the glowing half circles at the top of the screen.

I played this on my ancient laptop, so I was stuck with a trackpad and no audio - take that into consideration. The graphics were very well-done. You used a limited palette and space to good effect and I could sense the atmosphere even without sound. I didn't beat the last level. I agree with the previous comments about the snake things. I wasn't sure how to beat them. I thought the levels had great variety. I never felt like I was doing the same thing twice. That said, I don't feel the bomb mechanic was explored fully. Perhaps there could be ground enemies that can only be harmed by bombs or an airship that is defeated by flinging bombs into a hanger. (But I appreciate how easy it is to make design suggestions when you don't have to implement them My biggest pet peeve was the lightning on the second level. I'm not sure if there was an audio cue or not, but I was often caught off-guard by the lightning. I'd recommend that the warning glow be extended further down the screen or some visual cue (that doesn't depend on looking at the top of the screen) is used. All in all, it's a fun game. Keep up the good work.

The music in stage 3, at least, is unmistakably a remix of the theme played in Super Mario World's castles. I'm disappointed that credit for that is only given on Zircon's website, when looked for under "remixes".

A fairly solid SHMUP, I honestly liked the limitted pallete, no real complaints about the art, it worked well and established a consistent aesthetic. The gameplay was good, but when I had to hammer enemies with a lot of HP with bombs, the game became more of a polishing simulator as the movements were repetitive, hard to do and in general, annoying. the fact that I kept playing in spite of that is a tribute to the rest of the game, though.
