I bought my grandma Professor Layton: The Unwound Future and I bought Dragon Quest IX for my little brother. I didn't buy anything for my mom because I didn't know what she wanted and I bought her genealogy software for her birthday a little over a month ago.

Paul, considering what you bought for yourself and these gifts, I'm starting to think you may be suspiciously wealthy to be a true indie Unless of course you took a debt : P

Paul, considering what you bought for yourself and these gifts, I'm starting to think you may be suspiciously wealthy to be a true indie Unless of course you took a debt : PWell, I do have a decent paying gig right now, but I probably still make less than most artists in the game industry. Still, what I get paid is a lot for a po' boy like me. I still wear the same raggedy clothes with holes in them and I live in San Francisco, which is really expensive. Granted, I did buy most of that stuff for myself, my folks ended up giving me enough cash to cover most of the expenses. Most of the games I bought were on sale for around $20 each, which is why I ended up with so many

Haha, I didn't notice that Eres had posted in previous page and there could be a mix up Well, I think both of you can hold your indie status since Phuban's explanation was good enough

75$ worth of gift cards to Panda Express (I love to eat there leave me alone ;~; ) A quail stuffed animal, a certificate for a pound of See's Candies chocolate, um... a nice formal shirt, aaaaaaaaaaaand um. Various chocolates in my stocking along with some cheap plastic bracelets since I keep taking rubber bands from work by putting them on my wrist because yeah. It was an ok Christmas I guess.

A: Fantastic taste in books. Good Omens is great, believe me. And you know it's co-authored by Neil Gaiman, no? B: Necronomicon as in the collection of Lovecraft's short stories, or a story entitled Necronomicon?

I was pretty sure he was referring to the actual volume of arcane dark knowledge.

- A Playstation 3 with Uncharted 2, God of War 3 and Demon's Souls;
- Black Clouds and Silver Linings - Dream Theater.
It's not my favourite record, but I'm not one to whine. It's Dream fucking Theater, after all.

A: Fantastic taste in books. Good Omens is great, believe me. And you know it's co-authored by Neil Gaiman, no? B: Necronomicon as in the collection of Lovecraft's short stories, or a story entitled Necronomicon? A: Thank you, I really enjoy Terry Pratchett's work. I did know that Neil Gaiman was a part of the process, but I did not know it was such a big role. B: The Necronomicon is actually written by someone other than Lovecraft. It is the author's interpretation of what the fictional Necronomicon in Lovecraft's stories would be like. Oddly enough, there is no named author, besides the borrowed name of Abdul Alhazred (Who wrote the Necronomicon in Lovecraft's stories). It is copyright 1977, a good 40 years after Lovecraft's death. So, it is not a collection of stories from Lovecraft, nor an unrelated story. Sorry, I tend to ramble on a bit sometimes.

Around $900 (AU) in money and gift cards, a Sega Master System and 22 games (my gf got me it off Ebay), a bottle of bourbon, some t-shirts and chocolates. Think that's about it.
