Let me just say that this thread rocks.

Self-containment Shield + Bazooka

Each round has a particle generator. When it's fired, it raises the shield and charges itself up with highly energized particles. When it reaches its target, the shield drops and it explodes in every direction. Rounds don't explode so they are reusable and good for the environment!

Bees + Rapier

The blade carried by the master of martial self defense, recently gone insane. A quick pointed stab is fatal to the victim, but it also retracts the syringe that supplies the antidote to the venom covering the blade from the wrist, killing the holder.

(As for the rules, they're not as important honestly as long as something great comes out. Sticking to them and elaborating on your idea are suggested though.)

Rapier + Poison:



With all the speed and deadly accuracy of the traditional rapier, The Injector™ has a series of microscopic ducts carefully drilled down the length of the tempered Celesteel™ (patent-pending) blade. These ducts connect to a venom reservoir and complex pumping system designed to run off magnetic induction kinetic engines contained in the hilt; simple use of the blade maintains enough potential energy for consistent toxin delivery.

Poison + Gloves

Tiny needles embedded with poison laying in sockets on the front face of the glove's knuckles slide off when the hand is closed

[I tried drawing them...but I can't really draw hands]

environmentally aware silly putty + helmet

changes form and function no matter what the circumstances to best serve its wearer. Poisonous gas? no problem. Lack of oxygen? Easy. Intense pressure? Piece of cake. Though, of course, you'll want to find the matching suit before you go anywhere especially deadly, or you'll find yourself as a perfectly protected head and not much more.
