My only issue is the character and animals seem a bit dark compared to the grass and bushes, which stand out a lot more.
Now that you mention it, the vegetation is very bright. I can try to tone down the green highlights a bit to bring out the sprites.
Arachne : while I really like the vegetation detail, those rocks are so unreadable it's sad :/ there's some nice detail at the edges, but the inside is just a void on both screens I've seen it on. I'd really push the contrast so that it's at least clear that it's solid.
Yeah, I'll try to give the rock structures more clearly defined volumes.
I like how you've separated the floor from the walls huewise, but the skeleton is the same hue as the floor and the player is the same hue as the walls. I think the sprites could use some more distinction from the scenery.
