I hope you don't mind, but I played around with your image a little.

Wow, that looks so much better <3
Unfortunately, I think that pixel work was messed up from the start... No real direction or anything. Time to find something to pixel for my avatar...
I still have a whole lot to learn about pixel art.

Speaking of avatars (and pardon me for being a noob), what are the exact requirements (size, format) for a forum avatar here?

I've heard that it's 100*100, but as for format, any picture will do.
You'll have to host them externally though, because as far as I know this forum's hosting system doesn't work.

No; the limit is 130 by 130, but if it's bigger than 100*100 you have to scroll left and right to see the whole thing, which is a pretty silly thing to do/have.

A complete Dungeons & Dragons: Castle Ravenloft Board Game tileset, monsters and players. The "START" tile was done twice if you don't like my poxy sunlight effect on the stairs. Only one of the treasures was made.

Love it!

First thing I saw was the X-Man patch... upon a closer look, I found that it was a speech bubble.

Mehhhhh.
I suck at cars.
I tried to animate it, but I couldn't find a way to make the wheels seem like they're rotating.

I haven't pressed a pixel in at least a year (with the exception of the 8:Capsule graphics, which took very little time and effort from me anyway). But here's my latest attempt at something:

I haven't improved, but I don't think I'm much worse than I was, fortunately.

And if you're wondering, these are just some characters from my music/writing project, Vocal Marole, that I was pixelling earlier this week.

I did the bottom row of these a while ago, and eventually decided to stop being a pansy and add some actual detail in there.  How did I do?

Dunno about the yellow bits.  I've tried palette swapping em around; sometimes I love the results and sometimes I hate em. Droop

Nothing too fancy. A GBC girl and treasure chest, for a small zelda'esque arpg I'm working on. Chest is 3 colour + trans tiles, and the girl is the normal 3 colour sprite.

@yokomeshi I feel like the shades of brown in the hair and black and gray in the armor are also a bit too strong in comparison to the other colors like in the skin. Other than that, nice detail added!

@kramlack Nice chest.
