Anyway, I think I need some more feedback. What's the first description that comes into your head when you look at this guy? If it was anything with the word "Megaman" in it, then I'd like to take steps to make his armor look more original/human. I could probably adjust the leg armor for that reason, and maybe the shoulder pads. it's a new robot master. the entire design is very similar with what Megaman team are up to. so Just roll with it and count it as an hommage. this.

Alright, then. I'm actually slightly relieved that I don't have to change his entire animation set. xD As long as I'm not in any danger of copyright infringement, then I think I'm okay.

well, they can't sue you for creating a character that look like Rock. or else, they might get sue by Santa Claus for creating Dr.Light.

You need to stop using twitpic to upload these things. The full picture links expire~
Sorry about that, I was attempting that at around 1 AM... Fight, douchèbag! Any tips? Wow, that's great!. Especially from the step of your previous work that was rather simple... I don't have any tips, just post more.

Capcom is one of the few companiens that actually mention fan efforts on their official blog and advertise them. And that guy really looks like Zero, minus the hair and boob lights.

@Herror: if you could convey the sway of his jacket at the bottom of his torso that'd help a little, maybe some slight shift in the lapel as well? His pants could also do with some representation between his legs unless that's a deliberate stylistic choice and the lighting doesn't really reflect the usually matte quality of jackets like that. Some detail here and there isn't clear so I've tried to clarify that and added some highlights to the hair because shiny is fun. A few face tweaks to make him look a little more like he's going to fight someone rather than just "meh", touch up the outlining because it helps make sure colours don't get lost against each other and there you go: Not sure if it's still the style you'd like to capture, but there it is. Really good work, looking forward to seeing more! That animation is captivating

Oh, yeah, that's true. ^_^ Capcom is extremely lenient about fangames and such. Nevertheless, I figured I'd touch up his suit anyway: The previous suit seemed a little too bulky to be comfortable, so I made it a little tighter and did some color swapping. I could remove his face mask as well... Which of those two looks better, y'think? ^_^

the masked, i preferred. most probably is because the mask can actually guard off any unwanted substance like poison gas, and increase the underwater proficiency by enable the character to breath with the mask. and another thing, it's a PIRATE! YAR!

@Herror: -awesome critique-
Geti, thank you so much. The edit looks terrific, and helped a lot, mostly about how to clean things. So I made a new edit with some of the improvements. Changed the size a bit, and the face, more femaleish. And simplified it a bit I'm working on a 6 frame walking cycle right now, but I'm having trouble drawing that nasty legs

Major love to Pietepiet who helped me out a lot with this run cycle. Weird ass spacing because the idle was supposed to be an avatar, while the run was done using in-game sizes.

Geti, thank you so much.
You're welcome, new version is nice Good luck with those legs, hahah, maybe drop the highlights while you're animating then drop them back in in post-processing?

I require rainbows and a starry background for this to be complete.
