That's great looking!  I'm always a fan of things venting steam, and that little pop at the end of the pod doors opening adds a lot to the sprite.

@EdgeOfProphecy - The pop at the end really does add a lot to the sprite. I like it, as well.

I also changed the bug's pincer colors a bit to make it more readable.




I wanted to add some saliva dripping from its pincers - maybe I'll do that in-game to make it actually 'dynamic'. Smiley

The steam at the end bothers me. Did you intend for the machine to suck it back in? I think it should continue blowing outwards and then dissipate unless you meant otherwise.

Ohhhhh.  I see what you mean.  The puff of steam, rather than dissipating or fading out, looks like its animation is being reversed so it goes back into the machine.  Crazy, I didn't even notice when I saw it the first time.
