Working on an old PixelJoint weekly challenge that I never finished. Just dithered the belly, working on the teeth and arms at the moment. @Strife: This is not necessarily mine, the original shark was created by Blick. Also at this size I wouldn't really call this a sprite either.

I don't usually like dithering on sprites, but I must admit, it works great with your style. ^_^ Keep at it! I'm not sure if these attack animations have enough "punch" to them... I'm also trying to think of two or three new animations so that I can get a combo attack going.

Maybe on the first, you can add more sense of weight to her body as she swings it, so it actually seems like her hair can pack a punch. There isn't much arching forward so it just looks like she's twirling rather than trying to smack away the stigmata associated with Sonic fangames.

That makes sense. And I don't know why, but that comment about smacking away the stigma gave me a motivational boost.

Yeah, that looks more like an attack; though the twirl had more "character to it."
I like how I typo'd stigma as a divine and sacred wound.

Unfinished snow level, anyone? Looks epic, I want to play or is it just a mockup? Well, that part is still in development. But there's a big big demo available here! @Medevenx: You're right, there's a misplaced tile there. Good eye!

The hair on the other one seems like it should be flicked faster at first then fall back down slower.

I kinda agree. xD; In any case, I could use the old twirl for something else, like the starting frames of a tornado attack as ETG suggested. Let's try combining the two:
