spent 40min before bed touching it up with crits in mind



hopefully reads as quite a bit more dilapidated with less eye-rape grass + better separation.

I like the simplistic style! New grass color is much  better good work Hand Thumbs Up Right but im not sure if its fits with bushes?

@Geti Looks great. I think you should use red, or another color on the chest. The tan of the path makes it melt in too much.

I considered that, didn't want it to get too loud though. I'll have more of a tinker later probably.

I think fits is subjective Smiley Making the backing colour in the bush tiles the same as the darkest grass tone would make the bushes unable to back onto the forest, and without hardware colour rotation the tilemap size is gonna explode... (yes it's likely to become playable in some form, want to make an example for a framework I'm working on)
I personally think the slight colour mismatch is actually good, helps define where you can't walk. Maybe that's just me justifying my nostalgia tripping though.

I think he still needs another leg. It seems like he only has one leg (the right one, I think) and need to have another one (the left one, drawn in the background) or at least, fix the leg alignment to the body.
