YES, YOU INCREDIBLY HUMBLE ARTIST.

You are too kind!

I'm really glad that you like it. I do have a plan for a game to go with this that I'm pretty excited about, but I'm in the middle of other projects too at the minute so it will have to wait until after the new year before I can really make a start on it. I make a lot of games for clients to pay the bills, so until I can figure out how to live from my own stuff they have to come first!

Do what the rest of us self-supporting indies do Smiley Make your games, and then instead of selling them to a client who can sell them for more money, sell them direct to people or distribution companies. The power is with you.

Nice art, quirky style.

Glad you like it!

I don't make games for clients to sell. I sell all my own stuff myself, either direct or through portals. The client work that I do is mainly in the education or healthcare sectors, as my background is in serious games. To be honest even if my own games sold enough to live on, I'd still do that work, as some of those projects have been the most interesting I've ever worked on, and I think there are some amazing things that games can do in that area, but thats a talk for another time!

@Cell Pretty nice work, but these are some pretty odd designs. I like them, what are they for?

Thanks! I have some plans for it in the future that I'm playing with, that piece was just for fun when the idea came up though.

Cellusious I love your designs, very cool!

I have posted a few of these before. Just wanted to share my full set of animations.

I'm going to turn it into a mini demo for Flixel-iOS now that I've really pushed the engine into shape with Twitter/Facebook integration and Tiled/TMX map loading.

Does anyone want to contribute a background to the project? Get in touch if you do. Especially if you're into free open source projects.

Well, I've never done anything in someone else's style, but I guess now's a good a time as any for some practice. If you don't mind a gaming art novice like myself doing it for you, you can shoot me a PM with the details (Just don't expect anything getting done on the weekend, I have a Ludum Dare to participate in...). Also, I've never heard of Flixel, but judging by the fact that you used the word engine in the same sentence, I'm assuming you're making an open-source iOS engine? If so, GOOD FOR YOU.

I need to do some more pixel art, but here's some of my more recent stuff (that's not actually all that recent anymore):

I made this for a game concept from two years ago that never went anywhere:

This was me eyeballing some Bastion art, but I never finished it because it was too close to the work I was eyeballing and not coming out quite how I wanted:

And this is an icon I made in an hour for a GBA project I worked on:

Nothing too amazing. I should maybe try my hand at it more, though.
