I actually like prototype 1, it's pretty unique but I still understand what it's trying to say. The old one is the most readable and classic though.

I was listening to the drive soundtrack and this just kinda happened. Pixel fan art?
I just tried to re create the pixel art from the game straight from memory.

It is good but it has the same problem as the last one you did, the thighs are of different thickness, try to make them have similar width, and the forehand is thicker than the back part of the hand, could be easily fixed too.

Other than that it's even better than the previous one

(I was going for something between dead and alive, organic and robotic. I think I hit that fairly well, but I might keep tweaking it, s'a bit too noisy)

like

this style just has that kind of feel to it and its bugging me because what people say based off of the static images might not end up being the best???

@ANtY Thank you, I really appreciate hearing what I did wrong, it helps me improve faster. my anatomy is terrible, but its so much better than when I first started drawing.

At least I'm making progress xD

I want to make a game like yume nikki, like a huge dream world type explorey game. here's the story: you play as a 21 year old, unemployed stoner college dropout who lives in a shitty apartment(way behind on his rent). in game you only have 30 days worth of food, which means 37 dreams you can have basically until you run out of food, which is when the game ends because you'll die of starvation eventually. maybe you die in a dream?

I had a hard time making up a character so I just pixeled myself Tongue the left is regular, the right is dream mode. damn aint this an original concept!!

the tiles are pretty simple, I cut a lot of corners but eh. I wanted to create stuff that was simple and easy to create.

gonna do ahead and repost this on this page.
that sounds like a cool idea! I'd be way into this. plz make it.

This would blow up on Youtube letsplays. Smiley Do it, man.

Thank you! I really want to make this too, it'll be where a lot of my more... stranger ideas go. But idk what to make it with. I don't really want to use rpgmaker because of the lack of pixel movement but it has really nice tile management.

yea- im just trying to figure out how to make a boss/tutorial for the game im working on. you have to pull the plug then kick out the batteries

Maybe make him a magnetic coil? Like his source is from the electricity around him, unplug the cord and he loses his magnetism so you can safely go in to hit him. Or invert that and you make him magnetic to deliver some sort of payload?
