AAA, CELL GET OUT OF MY HEAD. (I was going for something between dead and alive, organic and robotic. I think I hit that fairly well, but I might keep tweaking it, s'a bit too noisy) Removed the backwards legs, and the hole in the stomach area. And the noise. Cell, I love your art, but I just don't have the eye to do the controlled noise you seem to do.

It's in a separate layer since I am trying to animate the hair first.

i keep thinking it would be easier to tell if we could see this in motion like
this style just has that kind of feel to it and its bugging me because what people say based off of the static images might not end up being the best???
This! A good palette for static images is not necessarily the same as a good palette for ones in motion!

Well, this is probably going to look terrible, but I decided to scale up one of my smaller cartoony sprites and smooth it out a bit. I know I probably have a ways to go to get the shading looking right, but do you think it looks okay so far? Psuedo-edit: I just realized that the left hand needs a thicker outline, but I'll probably fix that later...

Personally, I don't like the character design all that much, but here's how I'd do it:

This! A good palette for static images is not necessarily the same as a good palette for ones in motion! Makes sense to me. I'll hold off on palette adjustments until Carol's spriteset is complete, and then record some gameplay footage. Given that it's, well, footage instead of pixel art, I may have to post it in another topic. (Unless it's one of those moving GIFs, but my recording software doesn't have an option for those.)

Gravity Games, I love the small reflection in the eyes, it's where my eyes were first drawn.

I do love what you did with the right arm though, it looks nice like that. Gravity Games, I love the small reflection in the eyes, it's where my eyes were first drawn.
Thanks!

Drew a dog and gave it a simple animation. I think its head and torso need to move too.
