@Fawful - The train's really cool, but the knight is ace on so many levels. I think it could use a dark shade from the top of its feet up on its legs, and the sword seems to stick out some, but otherwise, it's really excellently drawn. The old man's excellently drawn, as well. Great work!
Thanks!

You mean I could have shown the leg using the darker colours instead of having the feet just seemingly float there?

Yeah, basically. The feet fade into pure darkness so starkly - it would seems like some light cast from the armor on the feet would light the legs up a bit. Also, it seems like the foot on the right of the picture seems a bit small or thin, like it could be longer by a bit.

Remade some of the older, actual, characters and made a new one.
Interesting thing to note is that 1960's casual fashion isn't.

Noob question: why the pink background for sprite sheets? I bought a set and I can't figure out how to slice it up and make the background transparent. I think I'm missing something.

I think the main idea is that magenta is a colour you're unlikely to use in the sprite so it can be automatically made transparent. It can make colours difficult to judge though if you actually work on the magenta background though. If you need to make the colour transparent you could try using GIMP maybe, it's free and handles transparency quite well in my opinion.

For using in a game. It should be good enough to work in any kind of setting by just adjusting the colour scheme.

You know what I especially like about this? Her main attack subverted my expectation. Usually when you look at a girl like this, you'd think she'd pull out some kind of blunt weapon like a frying pan or tennis racket, but nope, she punches you. I can imagine a bad guy's surprise when they get slugged in the face. xD

Your game looks very good and I think you can make more progress with this style of graphic.

A Bunch of Indies (part one?)

Run cycle. It's not perfect, but it's alright.

@Dr. Cooldude: And so it shall be.

Yeah. I was never happy with how the feet looked, they were difficult to deal with. I've had another go at it though, I think it's an improvement.

This is real cool concept. What is this 'teslagrad' of which you speak? If it involves tesla electricity knights it sound pretty awesome.

@JWaaap, I'll try to do one for you soon.

Indie SuperStars seems to be pretty popular. How can we turn this into a successful kickstarter?
