Not sure if this is the place for c+c but I'm struggling with walk animations right now  Would love some help His legs are doing some pretty weird snapping forward, in that they hold the leg in a high position for an awkwardly long time before putting it forward, which makes the running feel weirdly paced. I also think his head could be a bit more dynamic with some turning and headbobbing, but that's just me, I love headbobbing! I think the design is kind of cute, I like it. |

Same here I think the others are lacking contrast, so 3rd or 5th is the way to go. |

My friend suggested I post some sprites and animations from Pipe Works here. I'd like you all to meet the twins Jim and Jane with their victory poses:   And their silly arcade styled death sequences:   Our colorful cast of enemies (missing two:)  And even some bosses!   (These two actually won't be seen in the lite version.) I'd like to know what you guys think. I'll post some background soon. |

I think those are some of the best pixels I've ever seen REALLY GOOD I do not fully agree. They got great (a bit generic) character and personality. Not a fan of the colours of "Jim" and "Jane" as the cap blends with the hair and the oranges breaks with the white. They also appear very flat, maybe it has something to do with the lack of shadows. The crocodile flexing dude looks the best. @Carrion - i like the 3rd and the 4th. The 4th would be awesome for lurking in the background until it changes to the 3rd for the mainground. (is mainground the correct term? o_O) |
