For example Flappy Bird's use of Nintendo IP (which was much more serious). not that it's important but this wasn't actually a real thing as much as kotaku fishing for pageviews I think you may have not seen an earlier version of Flappy or I misunderstand what you mean by 'not a real thing'. It was a direct Mario pipe down to the pixel. Its important because it illustrates the looseness of IP enforcement. In the case of the cross, it would depend on the red cross filing against you for something in another industry, that might be considered public domain at this point (early 20th century). In the case of the Geneva thing the attorney general would have to file an injunction. I would never use an asset from another studio, but I think the attorney general has better things to do.

I like how he looks like he just gives up after the slash - fun body language I think the back-foot should be lifted a pixel when it's dragged forward by the front-foot.

good animation but the shading (esp on the skull) makes it look flatter than it needs to
i'd also lay off on the black outline a bit

Since I'm new to pixel art, I'd appreciate any candid feedback you can spare. What program did you create these in?

Barn swallows are my favourite birds! Dawnbringer's 16 colour palette.

The bird is awesome, but what I *really* love is the chain link fence.

how can i make the hands look nice for this ninja(pixel newbie here)? Hey man, it looks like you started with a 16x16 image and scaled him up. (you have a lot of 2x2 pixel squares) I suggest either sticking with a 16x or 32x resolution that way the hands won't feel out of place as much!

Laziest animation ever fixed lmao that's great @Thomas Finch everything about that GIF is just gorgeous ! but those clouds are what really caught me. most pixel clouds fall flat or look too shiny, these really capture that soft billowy look you'd expect
