Your stuff is incredibly weird and abstract to me and defies what i consider pixel art, but in a good way, I don't think i've ever seen a style like it before!

I wanted to go with a "God's giving energy/power from a lightning bolt" he-man sort of thing but it ended up just being easier to make it a straight beam :/

Another pixel dailies entry with a limited palette. I spent as little time as I could on the initial shapes, and way too much time on the anti-aliasing.
I find it easier to make these at an angle, because the anti-aliasing looks better that way.

***Offtopic ALERT***

I've been pixeling On and Off from a long time and to be honest.. I still suck and can't even make a decent static sprite. One of the reason is the tool,I don't really like GraphicsGale and work flow is really slow. Which tool has the fastest work flow in general ( equally good for tilemap, character animation)?

I'm not a pro, but I have a lot of experience with MSP. I don't normally need transparency since most of my projects are for myself. And when I do, I copy it over to Jasc Paint Shop Pro.

yeah pretty much. set everything to one key shortcuts close together on the keyboard and watch your pixel arting accelerate past warp speed

One of the reason is the tool
the reason is you're blaming the tool.

study up, push yourself, experiment, work at it. i use graphics gale, i have friends who use mspaint, photoshop, etc. no one credits any program for why theyre as good or bad as they are. it's all you.
