An archeological discovery. It must be my very first sprite, for my very first Gamemaker game-I-never-finished.



My current game is sort of a spiritual successor. Of something that never really existed. Not much of a burden :p

Not bad really, I'll add some more frames though. With just 2 more frames you could give a bit of elasticity to the motion, right now with only 3 frames, the illusion on motion is not really there. I tend to make 8 frames run cycles, it's a good compromise IMHO. 5 feels like the minimum to me.

lobstersteve, the effect in itself is nicely done, but I never use those effects if you let me deactivate them. It really feels artificial to me. This one is particularly pronounced.

I finally finished this. I discovered that piwel art is nice for small sprites, but ho boy was it slow to make... Maybe going for vector is a better idea for such stuff.

My art isn't in this trailer but I was commissioned to redo all the graphics which I overworked myself this past weekend doing.  Also, the game generally looks really fun so it was a pleasure to work with. Smiley

Thanks! there are actually about 21 unique sprites for the boss but Im just not sure if I wanted to just show all of that or keep it a surprise.
Also, I forgot to say, I really like these two here, Shawny!

especially the way the inner... mass? of the blob looks like it shifts with it's weight when it hops. nice stuff!
