Wow, I didn't know the shark would be such a hit! Maybe I should actually show the rest of it's sprites. Thank you all very much! I'm honestly not sure specifically what inspired the art style. Maybe Popoi from Puyo Pop Fever? That's the only character I can think of off the top of my head that looks kind of like that. I also made these sprites a few years before the shark (for this same game, just a different unrelated enemy)  I really like the sinister cartoon look it gives a character. Also, I'm on a roll for pixel arting today and just made a whole new enemy for a thing I'm doing in the game  it only has 3 colors per frame too, which I just did inadvertently, but I still think is neat. |
