melerski that first pic is kinda meh, but the second one with the car jumping is crazy awesome.
It's like pop art without the annoying colors.

recently had the opportunity to make a set of custom made portraits + matching sprites for a young game dev's graduate program video assignment. Was fun to turn everyone into pixels!

Yeah those are pretty great Grin The hair is awesome, you've really differentiated between the textures of different kinds of hair. Did you make them from photos? Also a small critique, the portraits all have so much personality, but the sprites seem to have the same eyes and face. I know you have very few pixels to work with there, but maybe some pretty small measures can make a bit of that portrait personality carry over in the sprites?

I found this the other day it might be useful? I know it was useful for me. Also I don't know who the creator of it is.

Oof these are incredible! The colors in the second one give it an almost dream-like feel to it. The perspective on the fences are nicely done too!
