the gritty "US localisation" version of the sprite i posted yesterday. 16x16, 3 colors + transparency

The crounching, jumping and punching look brilliant, but the walk looks a little stiff to me, mainly because of the arms.
But I get that it's hard as hell to animate things this size so, amazing job.

here's a commission i did recently

The stance and character are really good. But really in general everything is very hard to read, and I'd say for many reasons. For example, inconsistent use of a single light source, lack of volume in areas, lack of shadows, inconsistent range of values in your pallet and some other things too. Looking at your tumbler I'd say I say you're a better artist than this, don't let quick commissions affect your quality.

Yeah, got a bit lazy with the walk, a couple extra frames might have helped there!

Nah, the number of frames looks ok Smiley it's just that the arms look a little stiff.

Very Megaman-like, in the best way possible <3

Here's a sleeping dragon that's going to appear in a massive cut scene we're tinkering with at the moment. Working with big sprites sure is tricky Sad

That's one sick planetoid.
Sick as in wicked.
Wicked as in good.
Did you use a reference?

The robot guy isn't as good;
His shading looks more like beveling.

How did I miss this?
I love the smoke poofs.
And the palette.
And the animation.
Will you be able to fight this thing?

I think you did a good job! I like the design, and I like the color choices you made for the fire
