@DanFessler, loving that sky! The mountains are really nice although the looping is quite noticable.

Here's a temple I drew for Pioneers last night.





You can see where I messed up some of the linework (uneven brick heights) but all in all I’m pretty happy with it. Still needs touching up here and there. First time I saved my progress like that, too.

I initially quickly tried it but it wasn't quite right. Had another go today. It does help, thanks for the suggestion.

THanks a lot. it's an RPG projection, like most of my favorite RPG's have. In terms of gameplay it makes a difference to sidescrollers, because you can navigate freely on the maps, which makes it even more interesting with certain spawning mechanics for enemies and given how fast the game is.

CyangmouArt: It looks very good, but I think the characters faces are out of place with the rest of the art style. They look unshaded without any nose shapes and almost anime in appearance with both the white and the black of the eyes being depicted.

Guess it comes down to practice. In terms of zelda trees and juicy grass I presume you have a ton more experience than I do and yeah, I really like your stuff too =) Thanks

Well, on the one hand in pixel art and for small sprites you have the following options:
-no face,
-ugly face or
-anime face.

What a luck that I am a big fan of some animes and absolutely don't have a problem with that. It reads really well as face and Tower doesn't need a lot of facial expression to actually work.
