Making a little adventure game (started it for Asylum Jam, failed, but here I am) about a 'mystery team' of teenagers and their dog investigating ye olde mill. So eventually it's gonna be 5 characters, in only left-right moving environments. Debating whether it's better looking to: - Keep them totally in profile view
- Rotate them slightly to face the camera so you get more character (even though they're only moving left and right)
@matriax You're rocking that tiny palette, man. @conker Lovely little bot! Kinda hard to tell what's going on in the attack, though...hm.

Great, but the lip highlight sort of reads as a snaggletooth.

Like it and dislike it at the same time, but I can't really put a finger on "why". I think the dirt on the side of the blocks does not match the overall mood, maybe the clear difference between organic environment elements and rough cut blocks... someone help me out here

The pillow-shading is not super attractive and the amount of noise in some of the graphics is unsettling.

This. It looks preetty good, and a lot of that is from being able to tell how much effort was put into it. But the pillow shading is really holding it back. Also feels like in terms of value/saturation, everything's a little too samey. But the work shows through.
