I was told that the old animation was choppy so I redid it

I'm not sure if it looks better tho :x

To me, it looks like she's not leaning at all as she spins, which seems unnatural.  If you had her leaning forward as she slashes, then it would look like she's putting some strength into her attack.

Her pivot foot is moving.
Just stare at her feet they get mixed up and almost look like they just switch places.
The first step is where her foot should stay, otherwise she wouldn't spin.
In your animation her foot is sliding back.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Maybe a few more frames would make it more smooth. Or just a faster animation...

That's often the case with anime.

But it's tomboyish female.

It's actually the same position to be honest Sad
I've been trying to get that foot to work on more and I even added a frame and changed the color of the 9 for the other so they won't get messed up. I give up for now orz. Schoolwork ahoy~

Umm if it was the same position I would not have said anything.
So no, no it's not in the same position, it does not plant and stay there.
She puts her right foot forward and then spins, her right foot should stay where it is until she is done the swing.
Otherwise it looks un-natural.

It's her right foot, you pull it back to standing position half way mid swing and that's whats making it look off.

edit:
HUZZAH I figured out the problem.
Whenever in doubt of an animation do the swing yourself.
The whole thing is wrong, she has the weapon in her left hand, and she's spinning on her right foot to the left.
This makes no sense and is physically off.
You try and do it the way you have it right now, it feels so un-natural so un-powerful.
Now try and spin with your left foot it seems way easier and you actually get momentum from the spin.

Speaking of which, Nessiah, you're really good at anime character portraits, could you give me some advice?

YOURS<<>>MINE

I apoligize if the loop is broken, but notice the difference I have done with just replacing the image based on where her foot should be.

You can not believe how old school I had to do this...  Cry
I print screened every frame the mspainted it, then repositioned, then went to iaza.com to animate it.

Your focusing too much on making it loop and not enough on the actual steps required to pull such a move off.

edit:
I just recently had to do an unwanted format.
Losing 2 years of artwork, 7 beta crap game maker games, along with all my "purchased" software.

Otherwise, artwise it's looking good except for the legs, dont really like how you've done the feet.
Also, perhaps a higher frame rate could help you out.
