Mostly worried about the inner rings, but how's it look? the inner rings are total crap, but the rest is very good, the image is very evocative.

Some stuff I did last night for fun: idle walking jumping punching! spinning (hidden secret move that destroys everything) Cute. But for something like punching, I'd recommend you have the action go instantly, then ease back from it. If you ease into it, it seems soft.

Also, I'd suggest that you have one-frame where the character pulls back. If you've ever tried punching without pulling your arm back first, you'll realize that you lose a lot of force from the punch, just as your animation loses a lot of force as well.

a mash-up of breakout and space invaders where you need to defeat waves of guys to move to the next level. going for simpler colors and something a little bright and cute. I am really bad a top down perspective though. so this has been quite a challenge so far. I need to design better walls and a ball and character now.

Ah, cool idea. I know you say you're going for simpler colours, but I think a bit of hand drawn gradient on the enemies could be nice; something to make them darker near the bottom and lighter near the top so they pop out a bit more and can be told apart better. The orange ones are all blending together a bit at the moment. Cool so far though anyway.

something very very quick but: the ones with the shadows under the feet are the modified ones to make it fast i just did two layers, one in multiply for the shady part and one in dodge for the highlights on the top part, then i cut'n'pasted the same gradient over each type of enemy, tweaking it a bit for the red one ears and stuff like that
