Hahahahahahahaha. Wonderful.

Perhaps he wears that expression because he can't see other people and thinks that's what everyone's Greggs face looks like.

When I was young, I saw a man in Greggs who actually had no eyes, just concave skin perfectly formed in the shape of his eye sockets.

that's not exactly eye-socket shaped though.  One would expect rather deeper cavities I would expect :/

First pixel in a long time. A true weakness of mine (among many): animation. Though it's one of my best walking animations, it still looks quite odd. Huh?

EDIT: I think it's a bit better now

But it's not exactly an ordinary looking character, you can get away with more if your character isn't human   Grin

It looks like it just needs an extra frame or two of the legs. Cool character design, though.

I wish you wouldn't get my hopes up like that.

Thanks!

Hm. I made it a bit smoother:

I could but then A.) It wouldn't be a TI-83 mockup anymore and B.) I'd just be repixelling Cave Story. Tongue

Yeah that would be the ultimate.

I've always kind of wanted to make a game for my calculator. That way I'd have an alibi for my tepid math grades.

I meant bigger pixels, not bigger resolution.

A zoomed in picture, if you want.

Cause you can't expect me to be able to read that well.

Mr Yes:  I think your problem is not the smoothness but your keyframes.  You see he isn't making a walking motion right now, more like a rhythmic sashaying.  Even with 4 frames you can convey this with something like:
-> 1.left foot impact ->2.crossover ->3.right foot impact ->4.crossover -> RINSE/REPEAT

If you don't mind:

So it's a bit cheap and I would probably make the torso move more, as you have, but this is how I would do it in 6 frames, basically.  Impact, then pushing forward on the lead foot and lifting the trailing one, then crossover.

Oh sorry. I figured most people had ImageZoom for some reason. Smiley Better?

Much, and that looks neat for 2 colors. What are the limitations of a ti83 in terms of number of sprites, tiles, memory and stuff?
