It's a lot easier than trying to make each frame by hand in MSPaint... This is why you shouldn't animate (or pixel at all) in MSPaint. Stuff looks great though!

those are damn rad, marty, and an interesting process too, should try that sometime.
though I'm not really sure what the first part of the attack anim is...looks like he's flapping something around...?
He's supposed to be holding onto a sword or something in the first one.

I read it as a baseball bat. Whatever it is it's a pretty sweet sprite.

Hmm... this guy is supposed to be walking... not dancing. Any pro-tips guys? Not a protip but I'd suggest lifting the foot that's moving forward. The one-pixel-up moment should be when the food on the floor is directly under the head. I like it very much though! http://www.angryanimator.com/word/2008/11/01/animation-tutorial-2-walk-cycle/A walking sprite I recently made using the above tutorial:

The awful red color is the back leg, while the lime puke is the facing leg.

I use layers in gimp for animation, then shrink. Similar but not classical animation and a bit more practical for most people I would assume.
