Thanks for all the help! I'm content with this result Smiley Will start to polish the pixels and add a shoulder bag to the animation now.

Awesome room. The fighting guy's stance is all "Put 'em up, PUT 'EM UP! I got me some Ka...Herrage!" LOL - Great pixel art.

It now looks like this (but with a loading bar) in the loading screen, and in the actual title screen, I decided to remove the small snow flakes, but instead the stars slowly blink, there is actual snow falling in the crystal, and the windows get lit or have their light turned off every once in a while (this is all programmed, rather than an animated image; I had to split it up into a background layer, and a foreground layer with all of the glass effects, as well as a star layer and a window layer).

Also, the letters of the logo were split up into separate images, and now animate in from behind the crystal when the game is started. When entering the main menu, the crystal rolls out to the left, and the logo remains, and the menu rolls into place below it.

For animation, maybe you should try switching the paper texture each frame. Just as an experiment.

@ninto - I agree with Ashkin. I think that would be very interesting to see. The animation itself is good, but switching the paper texture would give it that much more 'umph'.

I'd also like to see the 'pod' and the text properly centered.
