Thank you so much for all the encouragement! It's been a lot of work (and still is, especially for things other than sprites!), and I'm happy the stuff seems to come out well!

They're definitely for an ongoing project - after posting the first batch twenty pages back, a very talented programmer contacted me, and we're in the process of putting them into a game. It's HARD work, so don't expect to see everything really fast. Smiley

Eldboll, thank you! I like your animation too, and there's been ridiculous amount of work there, unlike my lazy keyframe juggling. Smiley
Can I give you a suggestion? Just on the frame where he faces the player, contorting his eyes... display that for a couple frames longer, and the frames before and after too. A mini-slo-mo, if you will. I promise it'll make it look even better! (Also, perhaps make the fall a tad quicker towards the end, so that it'll really hurt him fall on his face. Smiley

Belimoth, I know what you mean, but there's nothing suspicious going on there. The Pig empire has had some financial difficulties, what with all the colonies abroad, and the two are just bros making up for the lack of "real" mounts. Wink

Well to be honest, the image I posted is more or less how I imagined the speed in-game, maybe a tad quicker.
I'm not sure it's possible to just display the same frames faster - if you wanted the thing to run more smoothly, you'd have to add frames, which in all fairness is pretty easy here with some tweening.

It's not a fast-paced game (just pointing and menus), so I hope these will be good. At least for a first build!

But yeah, I had to really watch how many hours I put into these, because (walk)+(attack)+(hurt/death)+(jump), times 3 (directions facing), times 6 (units) times 5-ish (factions) can be a lot of stuff.
But I'm making excuses... Smiley

I like the original speed. Once we've got it working in game we can tweak the speeds and frames so everything looks good.

I'm planning on adding in the hurt animations tomorrow anyway. Smiley
