Yeah, well, it was supposed to be a 'joke'.
Oh, I see. I'm afraid it wasn't a funny one, sorry. And I don't think this thread is appropriated for jokes, unless it's the 1st of April or something. Oh those lights. Maybe one day I can master them.. Thanks for these tips.
Welcome. There's a lot of resource about lighting on the internet. (and some on TIGS) You heard him, folks NO JOKING

Decided to dust off my felt-tip pens to help out a friend with a possible remake of an old Speccy game. Many of the graphics in here are based on the original monochromatic ones. Ten points to whoever guesses the game. This is just an image I dump the sprites onto as and when to see if they fit. Many of them have changed since being put into this image.

Cheers, I sourced most of 'em from an old remake I did the graphics for called Head Over Heels, although I've kept the colour count down a LOT as that game was 640x480 and this one is obviously about half of that, and so too many colours would be overkill.

Namragog: Awesome, probably the best thing I've seen you make as of late.
DrDerekDoctors: Dude, so good to see you posting stuff again. I feel like it's been forever! Love the palette for sure.

Wow love the purple in those walls, such an underused colour.

Ding-ding-ding! We have a winner! Wow love the purple in those walls, such an underused colour.
Yeah, I love it as a substitute for dark blues/greys. I try and keep red in all the colours no matter how dark they get so that they all kinda' unify at the bottom range. I think it helps keep 'em together. DrDerekDoctors: Dude, so good to see you posting stuff again. I feel like it's been forever! Love the palette for sure.
Ta', it has been *ages* since I pixelled. Actually, I think the last thing was Head Over Heels... Blimey.

Speaking of purple... The version on the left has no dithering on the body, the second version does. The ball in the middle is filler. @DrDerekDoctors: That's some fine work you have there. Only thing I see is that the wood isn't separated at all, like it's just a bunch of really really long planks.

It's great! is for a game or just for practice?. Edit. I do not remember a similar game in spectrum.

Ding-ding-ding! We have a winner! I sense a frivolous lawsuit in the making. If I remember correctly Fairlight was an EDGE intellectual property.

That's why Retrospec's last remake of it went kerput. Langdell got in contact.
