@Cellusious - i like the design of the dude but it is very busy. it doesn't help that it is scaled up 8x either. there aren't many pixel clusters, and the color values are all over the place. my eyes get strained from not knowing what to focus on. to better illustrate that here's the same image but in monochrome



i did a quick edit using more clusters and focused values that flow from top to bottom

I tend to not use clusters, it's a style choice, as well as the 'techy'-feeling of the piece which seems like randomly placed pixels. I see what you mean tho, and that it's hard to read which is something i have to work on. Lowres+techy is a bit hard to pull of :1

Carrion is more highres and flat and uses brushlike textures around in his pieces to create a unique feeling. I could probably be able to replicate his style but not his *tim burton*'y feeling. The question is, do you, Carrion have more than 6 colours that you could use? :1
