You know what I especially like about this? Her main attack subverted my expectation. Usually when you look at a girl like this, you'd think she'd pull out some kind of blunt weapon like a frying pan or tennis racket, but nope, she punches you. I can imagine a bad guy's surprise when they get slugged in the face. xD

Is it good enough, or shall i just make a new tileset?

//colors aside, purely about the pixel work

Your game looks very good and I think you can make more progress with this style of graphic.

Noob question: why the pink background for sprite sheets? I bought a set and I can't figure out how to slice it up and make the background transparent. I think I'm missing something.

I think the main idea is that magenta is a colour you're unlikely to use in the sprite so it can be automatically made transparent. It can make colours difficult to judge though if you actually work on the magenta background though. If you need to make the colour transparent you could try using GIMP maybe, it's free and handles transparency quite well in my opinion.

Much much better than Princess peach..

Run cycle. It's not perfect, but it's alright.

@Dr. Cooldude: And so it shall be.

Yeah, basically. The feet fade into pure darkness so starkly - it would seems like some light cast from the armor on the feet would light the legs up a bit. Also, it seems like the foot on the right of the picture seems a bit small or thin, like it could be longer by a bit.
Yeah. I was never happy with how the feet looked, they were difficult to deal with. I've had another go at it though, I think it's an improvement.

This is real cool concept. What is this 'teslagrad' of which you speak? If it involves tesla electricity knights it sound pretty awesome.

@JWaaap, I'll try to do one for you soon.

Indie SuperStars seems to be pretty popular. How can we turn this into a successful kickstarter?

After looking at how _Andrio did the hair on Derek, I have a lot of work to do on this animation.

OKAY, since people are asking for the list, they've all been tagged here (left to right):

Phil Fish, Devine Lu Linvega, Brandon Boyer, Edmund McMillen, Tommy Refenes, Derek Yu, Rami Ismail, Jan Willem Nijman, Kyle Pulver, Lisanne Pajot, James Swirsky, Jonathan Blow.

edit: Working on a part two, nearly done ^_^. More people to eventually animate!

You should add Konjak in there and give him his trademark scowl. xD Might be possible to do if you give him a beard and shape it the right way.
