Just installed it and got through the first level. It's very nice. the graphics and sound are all top notch. Still trying to figure out the gameplay, but the tutorial is very helpful so far.

Yep yep yep! It's pretty great, though like a lot of his games, it might be a little too hard. I'm currently stuck on World 4. (Of... eight or ten.) Dude does not balk at complicating things. I'm still in love with the fact that he has the chemical hazard diamonds in the game. For no reason whatsoever.

Is good. Smart. I'm not through the demo yet, but it's shaping up to look like a lot of interesting (computational) complexity from the interactions of the two tracks. Joy.

Thanks for the great feedback guys! Some of the puzzles are really tough but stick with it and you'll be bound to get those "Eureka" moments. Also you can check youtube (we have a built in youtube uploader) if you are getting stuck and see how other people solved the puzzles. Cool, this is like Codex, except with less emphasis on timing and more emphasis on spacial management. I just finished the demo(including the challenge(twas easy )), and now I am actually considering purchasing the game, even though I know for a fact that I will eventually reach a point where it's just too damn hard for me.(as with all Zachtronics games)

here's my solution for one of the levels; this game is pretty great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBwCquc_urIi think it's the first puzzle game where i've spent more than an hour on an individual puzzle

I just picked this up on Steam. Absolutely fantastic, hands down. I like how it doesn't push you forward in baby steps. It's pretty much super difficult right away (or maybe I'm just too slow to get it). I also like that there's no clear "right" answer. It's just what works and you can improve it by making it go faster.

The screenshots always scared me away from this game. For some reason it looked extremely over the top complicated. Since it was offered on Steam, I've decided to give it a try and have not regretted it. This game absolutely rocks, no questions asked. I think my friends are getting tired by me recommending this game to them again and again.
And yes, I think what makes it great is the lack of a fixed solution. Some of my solutions have been quite inefficient, like looping things around several times but if it works at the end of the day, you're rewarded with a deeply satisfying feeling of accomplishment, which is rare for a game. Well done.

Almost done with the demo. It doesn't have a difficulty curve, so much as it has a difficulty vertical cliff face. This is the kind of game where you spend half an hour feeling like a moron, and then suddenly you spend ten seconds feeling like a genius! And then it's right back to moron again.
Last night, I kludged together a solution for "Nothing Works" that was remarkable in its sheer inefficiency. I know I can do better. I must solve this puzzle properly.
I'm considering dropping my tenbux on it.

The demo's pretty weighty by itself. I absolutely love the game, but was happy to leave it by the end of the demo.
