Can you still exploit it by killing your opponent and then killing yourself to reset the round instead of having to progress back to the center?

The timing makes this a tricky proposition, if you time it wrong, the other player often respawns and you might be gifting them an advance.

Nidhogg is one of the few games multi player games where a mix of skill and outsmarting your opponent are absolutely vital. It reminds me of the multi player in Pandora Tomorrow, in that sense.

i imagine he's waiting to see if it wins or not. if it does, his chance of getting a publishing deal on xbla or something probably increase a lot.
