The way the levels are generated is with a crude kind of destructable terrain. I probably won't release the source because my GML is laughable and there are better ways to do what I do.
sure beats my flexibility with GML.

Progress update!  I'm having some strange problems working on this one. Maybe my Game Maker copy is buggy or something, but code that should work perfectly doesn't, and I have to do redundant code patches to make it work.

Development has been slow due to a specific exam this weekend, but it should put up steam soon. I've also been having some troubles coding it, mostly due to foolishness.
Haven't created much gameplay either.

if you have any GML problems just ask for help,. I used that stuff for years, still don't use half the functions Mark provides,. but I know some sht. I will help out if I can, as I too am intreiged by what you have shown thus far,. and I just wants to plays it  Most of the time I find my self cursing my stupid tools or the errors in the app I am using I end up taking it all back when I find some stupid little mistaken assumption or <gast> typo I had made,. not saing you aint found a bug in the ointment as that does happen as well,. but it is far more rare.
