Basically I'm sharing this process on our website as well as here, and I will continue to update this as Kevin Carville (Frantic Panda from the Jables Soundtrack/Sound Effects) create what essentially is going to be the Salvage Soundtrack and of course the Sound Effects and design of them (when interesting enough) will also be shown!

Only pictures at the moment, we have sound, but we will wait a little longer for that, it may not all get used, but it will be all displayed along the way regardless!

First bit is up, nothing much but a start nonetheless, we are getting sounds yay!

Very exciting! I'm sure we can expect great music, given your past work, for this already great looking game.  Grin

The Salvage Sound Diaries: Piano Rough Cuts
http://www.hyperduck.co.uk/?p=1496

Well, Kevin and I got an early.. ish start today. We've been doing a lot of recording on a run down old Dell Laptop my family doesn't use, simply because moving my entire computer down the stairs seemed a bit much, however it seems it will have to be done now since there is just not enough power in that little thing to make this work.

Check out the link above for the post and the audio cuts! (streaming from soundcloud)

Nice music!  Beer!

Reminds me of Brian Eno's ambient work.

We used the 8 for the piano but for the more recent stuff we were trying other options, we tried cardioid for recording things like the melodica. However the post processing on the melodica made that irrelevant I think it's safe to say haha.

Thanks for the kind words! We will do!

Should be back up later!

EDIT: Atm I can still see it. I'm moving hyperduck to a new hosting provider at the moment (cheaper for the WIN) so fret not.
