Hello,

I am a Ph.D student who is wrapping up his thesis at the moment, and in a couple of months, I will start working fulltime as an independent game developer (funded by my savings). I have set up a blog to document my adventures as I prepare for my first big commercial game venture.

I contemplated posting this in the devlogs section, but since my blog is supposed to be much broader, I post it here instead. I'm not documenting one project, but I'm documenting my views on the game industry as a whole, and how I will be a part in it in the coming year, and hopefully stir up some discussion on the way.

If the mods still think this belongs in devlogs, feel free to move it there.
