Jump on a pig or maybe a monkey, then use them as pawns.

Noyb -- Link's Awakening was spot-on. Your answer was awesome for the shape-shifting one, but it's actually another game for the game boy.
Haha, is it Kirby? Heh, yep. For you RPG fans out there: Berzerk rip-off.

That game. uh.
One chance, or something. You only have one chance.
The one whose title I don't really want to search for because I am a lazy waffle.

Description: Good thing I have unlimited lives, 'cause I can't grab onto that horned skull with this grappling hook for the life of me. Hint: The best part about this game are all the potions. Hint: What do you mean it's impossible? No one would put out an impossible game! No one would even see the ending... Oh...
Description: Annoying pink bitch, bossy hippy, and mentally retarded tuff -- Kill them, ignore them, or whatever; they still find you in the sequel. Hint: Almost everyone makes the bitch a man after they kill an ogre. Hint: It's a lot more fun when you use a tutu.
Description: Oh, this is the source of all that trouble? I'll just jam it in my forehead.

Diablo. More hints would be appreciated for the other two.

Diablo. More hints would be appreciated for the other two. Correct, and updated. The first one is probably more obscure than I realize -- it was the first game I got with my Genesis (hint), and I played the crap out of it. The second one was INCREDIBLY popular, so I'm trying to be as vague as possible.

Is it Chakan: The Forever Man? If so, it's funny as I've came across it earlier, but dismissed it as unlikely.

Here's a few (I hope they're vague enough):
Poor translation for European release.
30 hours walking down a tunnel, but it doesn't end there.
Sentient garment rolls balls.

Such a great premise, such a horrible letdown when you realize it's completely impossible, and even if you DO win with a Game Genie or emulator, there's no freaking "congrats, you win."
