I totally had never heard of SWAT Kats, so I looked it up on youtube. AWESOME. I especially like that the subtext on the SWAT Kats logo reads "The Radical Squadron." So good. Anyway, took a trip back home for the holidays and brought my sketchbook with me. Celebrated hooking my scanner up again by going over some sketches in photoshop:  |

I don't think legs such as those are an ideal to try and attain. some people have it in the genes though, and it'd be equally ridiculous to say that such people need to overeat to gain less lanky legs
I know this is a serious answer to a jokey thing, but the kind of jokey thing feels like it's a nervous attempt to preempt the kind of accusations one has read on, say, tumblr, about what is allowed and not allowed to draw and frankly, I feel that I am well-informed enough about the injustices in the world to know whether or not I'm actively perpetuating an unhealthy ideal. (edit: actually it's more just me selfishly wanting to draw whatever I want. I don't claim to know how the world works)
in this case I wanted to draw the less musculature or body fat defined, and more skeletally defined silhouette of a woman often seen in the fashion world. so I drew it.
of course, if anyone actually finds it offensive for real I would appreciate a PM and I'd gladly discuss the limits of self-expression versus upsetting people. for example, I didn't post this picture on twitter since I know I have friends who are tired to death of being subjected to mega thin ladies in media, and I didn't want to make a Thing happen, and I value the emotional calm of my friends figurative inner deep waters.
et cetera. did you guys know writing on a keyboard is really fun? I'll try to post another sketch later tonight to make up for the rambling. cheers.
